Miss Joan

Hi! My name is Joan Stoppleworth and I am the Director and teacher at Middleton Preschool since 2003.

My husband and I live in Cross Plains with our two dogs, Tanner and Cooper. We have three children who have all graduated from college, one lives in Chicago and the other two live close by.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends.

I love teaching preschool, every day is a new day full of fun, laughter and friendships.

Miss Heidi

Hi! My name is Heidi Ross and I have been teaching at Middleton Preschool since 2006, although I was involved as a parent and board member for five years before that.

My husband and I live in Middleton with our dog, Wrigley, and our three children (when they are home from college…).  In our spare time we like to go on walks, watch movies and play games.

I love teaching because I love preschoolers. They are so full of enthusiasm and ready for new fun experiences. They are so literal, loving, honest and open, and they make each day interesting. As you all know, children grow up WAY too quickly, so I feel lucky to be able to spend time with this age group even though my own kids are long past it.

Miss Nancy

Hello! My name is Nancy Letcher and I am a teacher assistant at Middleton Preschool. This is my first year teaching at Middleton Preschool and I have loved our focus on learning through play. In the past, I was a Preschool teacher for 16 years in the Madison, WI area.  I live in Madison with my husband, and we have two grown up children.
